Little containers

If you’ve decided to follow along in my blogging journey, you will soon see I have a slight kitchen addiction. I call it my “inner kitchen nerd” and will refer to myself as such.

I found these little containers yesterday at KP International Market, in Rancho Cordova. If you’re in Northern California, and cook any Asian food, this is the go-to store for supplies.

I have purchased the little plastic containers before. I use them for dried spices and herbs that I buy from The Spice House (more on them later). The glass jars I just picked up this weekend.

While I would have preferred the jars to have a screw on lid, I still had to have a few of these. I immediately thought of homemade dressing. I take my lunch to work daily. Just the thought of these adorable little bottles, holding a dressing I made, made me a bit giddy. See? There’s the kitchen nerd coming out to say “hi”.

I did make a dressing this morning. For safety when transporting, I put the jar in small bag; just in case. Who needs an oil-based dressing all over their lunch bag, right?

Purchasing these little containers makes staying on track with healthier meals and for me, being gluten-free. If you’re looking for something similar, and can’t find these locally, I would recommend these jars. Being organized with food helps to keep you on track for whatever your goals are.

***I do receive a small commission on my referral links.***
