No matter what is going on in my life, music always plays a part. My mood depicts what I listen to, but there is a song or group of songs for everything that life throws at me.
Here is a quick list of the genres I listen to:
- K-Pop (Ateez, BTS, Stray Kids, Big Bang, NCT127, etc.)
- Rock (80s Hair Bands, Ozzy, Def Leppard, AC/DC, etc.)
- OTSs (Original Sound Tracks from K-Dramas and Movies)
- Hip Hop/Rap: (Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, Tupac, Naughty by Nature, Bone Thugs, etc.)
- Pop (Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, etc.)
- Country (Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, etc.)
- Latin (Gente de Zona, Enrique Iglesias, etc.)
- Christian (Toby Mac, Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, etc.)
I couldn’t possibly list all that I listen to. I think my ADHD has something to do with the fact I can listen to a song 30-40 times, in a row, without issue. I don’t like limiting myself. I love listening to songs in languages I may not understand. Listening to the pitches, the soft or hard hitting notes, how the artists sings the words, that’s when music speaks to your soul and words aren’t necessary.
I added a video on the main page. It’s called “Stay with me” an it’s from the K-drama, “Guardian – The Lonely and Great God”. It’s also known as “Goblin”. This will be just one of many videos and/or song lyrics that I will post to share some of the music I enjoy.
I would love to know some of the music that brings you joy or comforts you in sorrow. Maybe I will add them to my music rotation. So please, drop a comment with a song or two for me to look up (if I don’t already know it).
The Rose, “Back to Me”
