It’s not that I have been uninspired to write or share my great Amazon links, but life is busy. Some days, I’m running on caffeine and a couple hours of sleep. Ok, most days if I’m being honest.

I deal with my chronic pain/disability daily. Add that to working full-time outside the home, being a wife and mother, a dog-mom, household chores, trying to be a good friend, and hoping to carve a little “me-time” in between all that, is it any wonder my blog has to take a backseat to life in general?
Yet, I am doing my best to try to put me first for a change. It’s definitely not an easy task as I’m drawn in so many directions. I need to be my own priority. I think as adults, we tend to forget that. We are people who also need to see ourselves as more than just what we can do or what we’re labeled as (Mom, co-worker, wife, etc.).
Recently I have started my own little outings. I am limited with my mobility issues, but just going for a cup of coffee and enjoying it at an outside table.

Watching kids play in the park since mine are all grown up now. Enjoying all the pups that pass by as their owners are taking them for a walk. Little things. Just for me. It may not seem like much, but it’s making a difference.
